Encyclopedia: Items;
Pokédex: An encyclopedia cataloging every species of Pokémon, from their appearances to their cries and even details about their abilities and temperament. I've noticed that many entries seem a bit... dark, though I can't vouch for their accuracy.
PokéGear: A remarkable device with a variety of functions, from a clock to an interactive network and even a music player. One can even download virtual games, and there's a map of each region for ease of travel. Overall, it's a miraculous tool, unlike any I'd seen before.
Pokéball: Peculiar balls that contain captured Pokémon. I suspect they're either constructed from highly advanced materials or there's magic involved, as they're able to house even the largest of beasts. Pokéballs also come in a variety of models, some stronger than others, and I've been told that a man named Kurt creates custom Pokéballs using nuts called apricorns. I'll be sure to add more detailed information in the future.
TM: Short for technical machine, these strange discs are capable of granting new moves to a Pokémon simply by breaking them over their head. They're sadly one-time use, and may only be used on compatible species. The Department Store in Goldenrod sells a wide variety of techniques, allowing one to bolster their Pokémon's moveset considerably.
